Block A Seller

Setting Up Filters

Users can add any combination of the below filters to refine the experience for themselves.  Users can set up as many filters as they see fit.

  • Limit Seller Location - You can add one or more countries here. Leave this field blank to see listings shipped from any country.
  • Minimum Seller Rating - Minimum of 90%
  • Minimum number of seller ratings - Leaving this at 0 will allow for users to see listings from new sellers if they wish
  • Minimum Media Condition - A selection will allow any listing with that grade OR ABOVE to be shown
  • Minimum Sleeve Condition - A selection will allow any listing with that grade OR ABOVE to be shown
  • Include Sleeveless Media/Generic Sleeve - Will show Sleeveless/Generic items when sellers list them for sale.
  • Maximum price - This will limit all results to the specified price or lower. Leave this field blank for no maximum price.
  • By Format - Limits all results to a set of specified formats.
  • By Artist - Surfaces all listings from a particular artist, or multiple artists only.
  • By Release - Multiple releases from your wantlist can be added to this field.

Editing Filters

To edit your first filter:

  1. Click the Filter button.
  2. Make selections from the filters above.
  3. Select Save.

To add a new filter:

  1. Click the Filter button.
  2. Make selections from the filters above.
  3. Give this filter a new name.
  4. Select Save as new. 

When you have a filter selected and you make changes to it, clicking save will save the changes made to the selected Filter. If you click "Save as" will create a new filter with the selected filters and will leave the original filter unchanged.

Deleting Filters

To delete a filter click the filter drop down next to the filter button at the top of the page.

This will show you all of your saved filters. You can delete a filter by clicking on the delete icon and then clicking OK.

Using The Marketplace

  1. The handshake icon indicates that the seller is open to offer
  2. Click on the album cover any of the results on your Wantlister marketplace page to be directed to the listing in the Discogs.com Marketplace or click "Add to Cart" to purchase.
     
  3. Clicking on the ellipses icon within the album block will open the focus menu.

Clicking on "More from this seller" will show you other wantlist results from this seller.

Clicking on "Forcus on this release: will show you all listings for this release that match your filter criteria

Notification Preferences

Notification preferences will be controlled from https://www.discogs.com/settings/notifications using the “When a release in my wantlist is listed for sale” notification type.  Preferences apply to both daily digest and real time notifications.  

“Personal Email” Preference will turn on/off wantlister notifications delivered to your validated email on record.  If you unsubscribe from personal emails ensures you will no longer receive emails from Wantlister.  

“Notifications” preference will turn on/off wantlister notification being delivered to the notification bell in the Discogs header.

Within Wantlister, each filter will have a notification preference as well.  From here you can determine wither you want to receive Daily digest, Real time notifications for each filter you have set up.

Block A Seller

Use the ellipses menu within the album block to open the focus menu within a listing from the seller you no longer wish to see results from and select “Block This Seller”

This seller’s listings will be removed from your results across all filters.

You can undo this action by navigating to “Settings” under your profile menu in the top right of the screen.
