The Quicklister - available under "List Item For Sale" from the Marketplace drop-down in the top menu bar - can help you find the items you wish to sell in our database. There are two ways of doing so:
You can input the information of your release into the text fields. The more generic you are in your search terms, the more generic your search results:
The more details you add to the search fields, the more likely you'll find the specific release you're trying to sell:
Once you've found the release you'd like to sell, you can click on the result or use the "List item" button on the right corner of the release:
Fill out the details on the right side of the page as you usually would when listing an item for sale. Be sure to include Media and Sleeve Condition and Price, then click the green List For Sale button when finished. You're all done!
Using a CSV file
From this page, it's also possible to match a personal CSV file with Discogs database release IDs, to help post large inventories for sale relatively quickly.
To start, please make sure that the file you are uploading is encoded as "UTF-8".
The Quicklister will only recognize specific column headers. Your CSV must contain only the columns and headers listed below, with headers formatted as shown in the example at the bottom. If you are including a different column or field, or format, write the headers differently, the Quicklister may not be able to recognize the information needed to match your item with the database.
This video will also explain how the Quicklister works:
Here is a description of the information you can include in your CSV file. The column on the left shows the title as it should appear in your CSV file. The column on the right explains what you should include there. See below for an example screenshot.

The new Quantity field on the listing page now allows you to list multiple copies of the same release at once, rather than repeating the listing process for each item.
You’ll find the new Quantity field on the listing page when you click ‘Sell’ from a release page, or the List Item For Sale tab. The amount of each release you have for sale will appear in the new Quantity column in your Inventory. Quantity can be adjusted or added to any release in your inventory, simply edit and add the amount you have for sale and save.
When listing a release at a quantity of two or more, all copies of the release should be the same version of the release with the same media and sleeve condition or grading. Each copy will be listed with the same description and price.
Only one copy of the item you’re selling will appear in the Discogs Marketplace at any given time. As that one copy sells, another copy will be added to the marketplace without you having to lift a finger.
