Why Are My Items Showing As "Pending” In My Inventory?

From time to time, Discogs rolls out a mandatory product update which sellers must manually adopt. Until this adjustment is made, your inventory will be set to Pending.

Another reason could be that the Discogs Marketplace may no longer be available in your region. To learn more, please visit our separate help document: Why Is The Discogs Marketplace Not Available In My Country?

Lastly, please note that users new to Discogs will not be automatically granted the ability to sell. A temporary hold period will be put in place to ensure the integrity and intent of all new accounts. Your items will display as Pending and later update to For Sale once the hold period is complete. Thank you for your patience!

Mandatory Products

On November 1, 2020, all sellers on Discogs were required to have complete Shipping Policies in order to be able to sell on the Marketplace. As of February 1, 2022, all sellers are required to onboard to our PayPal Payments solution

If you have active sales listings and have not yet onboarded to one of our mandatory products, your items for sale will be delisted from the Marketplace and show as “Pending” in your inventory:

The system will also notify you about the incomplete policies using this red banner:

In order to make your items available to your buyers, please complete the onboarding process as prompted in the red banner and mark your items as For Sale using the Mark For Sale button on the Inventory page.

Regional unavailability

If your inventory has been set to Pending due to the Discogs Marketplace no longer being operational in your region, there is unfortunately nothing further you can do at this time. Please be sure to finalize any remaining orders and process any necessary refunds.
