Have you successfully placed an order and are excited to get your new records as soon as possible? By following the below mentioned steps, this process will be quick and easy! Let us know if you still need help or if something is unclear.
Access your purchases:
You can access your purchases by tapping on Buy Music > Purchases in the left hand menu and then selecting the purchase you want to go to:
1) If you see or receive a notification that your order has been set to the Invoice Sent status, your order is ready to be paid. If the seller accepts PayPal, you will see a green “Pay Using PayPal" button:
When selecting this payment method, you will be redirected to a PayPal link where you can log in to your PayPal account and proceed with the payment.
2) Once the payment is sent, the order status will automatically update to Payment Pending. Later, the seller will update the status to Payment Received and/or Shipped.
Note: When paying with a method other than PayPal, follow the steps as outlined by the seller.
For example, if paying by bank transfer, the seller’s bank details will display on the order page, which you can use for your transfer.
For any other payment questions, please message your seller directly on the order page.
Messaging a seller
If you’d like to contact your seller via the order page, you can leave a message by scrolling down, typing your message in the text field and tapping on the blue “Send Message” button:
If the seller of the order has not responded after 4 days of your last message or has not updated the status correspondently, please use the Seller Not Responding? feature under the text box so the seller is notified about this:
Confirming a refund
Did the seller send a refund and note this on the order? Once you have received this refund, you will have the option to confirm the refund via the order page.
You will see a green sentence on the top of the page giving information about the refund. You will have the option to tap No if you have not received this refund and Yes if you have:
Once the refund is confirmed, you will see the total order cost updated and a notification on the order timeline.
Feedback is very important on Discogs! For this reason, we ask our users to leave feedback only once the order has been completed and any related questions or concerns resolved.
Once you are ready to leave feedback for a seller, on the order page, you can scroll down under the Items Details section to view the Sellers Username and rating.
- If the order is eligible to leave feedback you will see a blue icon called Send seller feedback:
Tap the button and select the type of feedback you want to leave (Positive, Neutral or Negative), then tap Next Step, write a small text that defines your experience with the seller (read here how to leave appropriate feedback) and tap on the green button, Send Feedback:
You will have the option to remove the newly purchase item/s from your Wantlist and Add to Collection right after leaving feedback on a purchase - go for it!
