What Can I Do If My Account Has Been Compromised?

If you believe that your account has been compromised, please follow the steps below and report the situation to us:

  • Log out of all open sessions and change your password using a strong and unique string of letters, numbers, and symbols. Don’t share your new account data with anyone.
  • Secure your login process by activating a Two Factor Authentication security feature.
  • Review your PayPal address and your accounts linked to Discogs. Please visit the PayPal support page to know how to report possible identity theft to PayPal.
  • Check with your financial institutions. They should have protection systems in place and will explain to you how to proceed.
  • If you are a seller and you believe your orders have been compromised as well, please review your Orders page and message any affected buyers. Buyers should be informed and warned to contact their financial institutions and/or PayPal.
