Discogs connects music fans around the world. However, Discogs is subject to various laws, regulations, and market factors that affect how the Marketplace can operate in specific countries.
As of December 28, the Discogs Marketplace is not operational in the following countries:
- India
- Singapore
- Russia
What does this mean for buyers and sellers in the affected countries?
Buyers: You cannot place orders and purchase items in the Discogs Marketplace. All other Discogs tools and services remain available, including your Collection, Wantlist and Database contributions.
Sellers: You cannot list items for sale in the Marketplace. You can still view and export pre-existing items in your inventory through your seller dashboard, but they will not be accessible to buyers. All other Discogs tools and services remain available, including your Collection, Wantlist and Database contributions.
Does this impact my ability to interact with the Discogs Database?
No. Users in affected countries are still able to interact with the Discogs Database as usual.
Will Discogs Marketplace operations return in these countries?
Discogs continues to monitor and review the affected countries to determine whether or not Marketplace operations can resume.
