List an individual item for sale

On the release page of the item you want to list for sale, you will be able to see the Discogs suggested prices, sales history and the items you currently have for sale. Under the items for sale, you will see a purple button titled “$ List item for Sale”, which you can tap to sell this item.

A new page will open where you can determine the Media and Sleeve condition, price, if you allow offers, and write public or private comments and location.

Once all the necessary information is filled in, tap on the green “List for sale” button and the item will be added to your inventory and available for purchase. You will then be directed back to the release page where you can see the item you have just listed for sale.

Edit your items for sale

To view your items for sale, you can either access them from the release page or directly from your Inventory page. Managing your orders

When you receive an order, you will be able to access the order page via a message notification or via your Orders page.

If you have received a new order, make sure to finalize shipping costs and send your invoice as soon as possible so your buyer can proceed with the payment. Discogs Policies explain this must be done within 4 days. Tap the button “Set Shipping” to proceed, add the shipping costs for this order and tap OK. If you have set up Automatic Shipping Policies on your account, you will be able to skip this step as the invoice will automatically be issued to your buyer.

The order should now be set to the status "Invoice Sent" and buyer can send the payment using one of the payment methods you have offered. If the buyer pays with a Discogs Payments (credit card) or PayPal, the status of this order will be set to "Payment Pending".

Please check your bank or PayPal account to confirm the payment has been received and update the status to"Payment Received". To do so, tap the button “Update Status” and select "Payment Received". After this status is set, you are expected to ship the order as soon as possible. When the order is shipped, please update the status to "Shipped".

If you need to cancel an order, you should also use the "Update Status" button and select your cancelation type.

Communicating with your buyer:

If you need to communicate with your buyer, we recommend doing this via the order page. You will find a designated field to do so, type your message and tap the button “Send Message”.

Leave feedback

Once the order is eligible for leaving feedback, you will see a blue button under the buyer’s username above the messages field. Tap the button and a pop up with the feedback process will show in the screen. Decide how satisfied you are with the buyer by selecting positive, neutral or negative feedback and tap on "Next Step". The second step is to write your feedback for your buyer making sure you follow the Feedback Guidelines and write not more than 250 characters. After that, simply tap on the green button "Send Feedback" and the feedback will now show under the username of the buyer on the order page.
