At this time, we do not have a one-click feature to offer discounts in the Marketplace. Some sellers list a discount in their Seller Terms or include information in their Profile description. This helps buyers to know about your discount deals before an order is placed.
If you'd like to provide discounts to your buyers, you can always use the following methods:
- Change the item prices by using the Bulk upload feature. You can export your inventory as a CSV (text) file, and manually edit each item price and upload your inventory file all at once. If you are new to the feature, please save the original exported CSV file as a backup. You can view How Do I Use The Bulk Upload Feature? for more information.
- Using a program like Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, you can even apply a % discount within the exported .csv file. You can manually edit the item price applying the % discount you desire. Remember that if you want to go back to the original price, you will need to recalculate the correct % to apply. For example, if the original price is $100 and you provide a 15% discount, the new price will be $85. To bring it back to $100, you will need to apply a 17.65% increase (100 / 85 = 1.1765)
- If you’d like to give a discount on an order that is already paid, you can issue a partial refund. You can read more about this in the article How Do I Refund An Order?. If the order is still in the Invoice Sent status, you can contact us and let us know the item number and the price you’d like it to be updated to.
- Apply the discount to the shipping costs. If the payment for the order has not been made, you can do so by clicking on the "Edit" link shown next to the shipping cost on the order page.
