When you submit a release to the Database, or you edit an existing release, Submission Notes are required.
The Submission Notes field must be used to describe your submission or update. For example, on new submissions, you could disclose the source of the information, say you have checked all the links, and describe or explain anything out of the ordinary. For edits, please provide a brief description of the edit, and note the source of the information.
Submission Notes should be used to explain all aspects of your submission, particularly where anything is unusual that might be questioned by other users. These notes should also include any explanations, URLs, and general communication to other users.
